In the ARhus Knowledge Center in Roeselare, a Skyfold Mirage wall is placed. It is the first Skyfold wall in Belgium. The knowledge center containing the city library and archive is a public information center and meeting point. In addition, there are several educational and conference rooms and offices for the Aarhus students, entrepreneurs and other creative subjects.
The design of the building by B2Ai is based on an old bank, but only retained the original concrete structure. As part of the dynamic concept, three different types of glass have been used for the facade. One glass layer is 12 centimeters away from the building, giving more depth to the 2,700 square foot of the wall.
The whole is an architectural eye-catcher in size.
